Welcome back to a new year. I am excited about all the things we have to look forward to as we enter into the 2022-2023 school year. If you are checking my blog for any needed information, you will find a links on the upper banner that provide helpful information. The materials needed for my class are:

Wednesday – Quiz over review from previous day. Review Part 3 – ALL regular present tense verbs. Key vocab words
Thursday – Quiz over review from previous day. Review Part 4 – All IRREGULAR present tense verbs
Friday – QUIZIZZ activity over entire week’s review.

Friday – Begin review for cumulative exam. We will begin with key Spanish 1 concepts.
Monday – Benchmark for Algebra 1. All students that meet will watch Extra en español and answer questions.
Tuesday – Benchmark for Biology and History. All students that meet will watch Extra en español and answer questions.
Wednesday – Review for tomorrow’s quiz over the REGULAR commands. This will include affirmative tú as well as negative tú and both affirmative and negative Ud. and Uds.
Thursday – Continue with class review of commands. Quiz over the REGULAR commands.
Friday – No School
Monday – Review all regular verb endings for tú, Ud., and Uds. only as a segue into commands. Introduce both affirmative and negative commands.
Tuesday – EOC Testing Day – any classes that meet will do a review activity over regular verb endings.
Wednesday – Online assignment via Quizizz for practice using commands.
Thursday – Day two of EOC testing. Any classes that meet will work on Quizizz from previous day.
Friday – Additional activity over commands. Paper copy fot those present. Those who are out for school activity will have a supplemental online activity to complete.

Monday – Introduce the regular imperfect tense endings. Discuss ONLY the “used to… and the -ing” uses. Introduce events vocab. and pret v imp trigger words.
Tuesday – Quiz over regular imperfect tense verbs. Introduce the THREE irregular imperfect tense verbs…ser, ir, ver.
Wednesday – Quiz over irregular imperfect tense verbs. Example sentences in English in the past tense for pret v imp. Introduce past participles with estar. (-ado, -ido)
Thursday – Quiz over past participles. Quizizz activity to practice full use of imperfect tense.
Friday – Open notes activity practice test.
Monday – Go over weak areas from test. Focus on the key factors that will be used for remainder of the year. Provide students with vocab list for the week.
Tuesday – Begin review of the “1000 key words.” These are not new words. They are words we have learned already. This weeks words are the top 100. Focus for today will be put on greetings, good-byes, introductions and responses to each of these.
Wednesday – Quiz over group one words 1-30. Review etiquette words, question words, and the “essentials.” Pronunciation practice using the words for tomorrow’s quiz.
Thursday – Quiz over etiquette words, question words, and the “essentials.” Review pronouns, time expressions, weather phrases, celebration words, and family member words.
Friday – Quizlet live for vocab practice. Quiz over pronouns, time expressions, weather phrases, celebration words, and family member words.
Monday – Students will continue working on present & preterite verb chart. Remind students about NINE WEEKS TEST. Quiz review verb meanings/conjugations.
Tuesday – Quiz over verb meanings/conjugations. Complete chart as a class. Specific review of present and preterite for test review.
Wednesday – NINE WEEKS TEST
Thursday – Corrections to NINE WEEKS TEST for both a daily grade and bonus points to NINE WEEKS TEST.
Friday – Introduction of remaining irregular preterite verbs…-car, -gar, -zar, querer, saber, andar
Monday – No School
Tuesday – Begin review of all regular preterite tense verbs. Once all are reviewed, do a Q&A of present vs preterite using trigger words. Notify students of quiz that will be on regular present vs regular preterite on Friday.
Wednesday – Periods 1-5 will not meet due to benchmark. Periods 7 and 8 will work on a Quizizz review activity. If time remains, we will do an informal pronunciation assessment.
Thursday – Review major preterite irregular verbs – ir/ser, hacer, dar, ver, introduce decir, estar, tener, and saber in preterite.
Friday – Quiz over regular present v preterite. Quizizz activity of irregular preterite verbs.
