Spanish 2 Week 31

Monday – Review test errors from last week. Cumulative Review part 1…we will cover pronunciation

Tuesday – Cumulative review part 1 continued…we will work with basic greetings/good-byes/introductions. This will be done entirely in Spanish. There will be a daily grade for  proper responses with focus on pronunciation.

Wednesday – Cumulative Review part 1 continued…we will discuss likes and dislikes using most common words from this year. This will be done entirely in Spanish. There will be a daily grade for  proper responses with focus on pronunciation.

Thursday – Cumulative Review part 1 final day. ..we will discuss numbers, time, days, dates. This will be done entirely in Spanish. There will be a daily grade for  proper responses with focus on pronunciation.

Friday – Students will be working on a review activity via Quizizz.

Spanish 2 Week 30

Monday – No school

Tuesday – UIL Academic day…classes that meet will do memrise vocab retention activity

Wednesday – Review for tomorrow’s Test

Thursday – TEST. Once students finish test, they will begin reviewing vocab needed for immersion practices.

Friday – Corrections to test if necessary. If corrections are not needed, we will begin working on pronunciation via immersion practices using basic greetings, introductions, and good-byes.

Monday – Preterite Tense review which will include key words used with preterite tense with worksheet to follow.

Tuesday – Quiz over preterite tense words. After quiz, we will continue with review of preterite tense in complete sentence format.

Wednesday – Pronunciation Quiz using preterite tense sentences. If time allows…Extra Episode 2 with questions

Thursday – Pronunciation Quiz for anyone who was absent yesterday. Extra Episode 3 with questions

Monday – Key concepts review…Quizizz activity for practice

Tuesday – We will start with a discussion of the key components from yesterdays activity with focus on any areas of struggle. Introduce REGULAR preterite tense.

Wednesday – Quiz over conjugations of “-ar preterite.” Review verbs that will be used for preterite activities.

Thursday – Handout over preterite. We will do together. After preterite activity, we will discuss recognizing difference between present and preterite.

Friday – Quizizz over present vs preterite.

Spanish 2 Week 26

Monday – Refresher on irregular yo verbs. Focus today will be on the yo”go” verbs. We will add complimentary vocabulary that are commonly used with these verbs.

Tuesday – Quiz over yo”go” verbs. Meaning and yo form only except for tener, venir, and decir. After the quiz, we will move to reviewing  -zco verbs. We will add complimentary vocabulary that are commonly used with these verbs.

Wednesday – Quizizz activity reviewing numbers 1-1,000,000.

Thursday – Quiz over -zco verbs. Meaning and yo form only. After quiz we will cover remaining irregular yo verbs…-ger/-gir, guir, oir, ver, dar, saber. We will add complimentary vocabulary that are commonly used with these verbs.

Friday – Quiz over remaining irregular yo verbs. Meaning and yo form only except for oír(all forms.)

Spanish 2 Week 25

Monday – No School

Tuesday – Family member Booklet Pronunciation portion…students will be asked questions about their project and are expected to respond appropriately. Grades will be based on proper pronunciation as well as accurate responses.

Wednesday – Continue with presentations of needed. Introduce irregular “yo” verbs.

Thursday – Quiz over yo form of all irregular yo verbs…yo”go” -zco verbs, -gir, -guir, and others such as ver and dar.

Friday – Quizlet live/gimkit over irregular yo verbs. Introduce remaining vocab as well as numbers through 1,000,000.

Thursday – Quiz over irregular “yo” verbs…emphasis will be on yo “go” verbs, but we will still cover all irregular yo verbs.

Spanish 2 Week 23

Monday – Review conjugations of stem-changing verbs using the handout from last week.  We will also add additional vocabulary to the list. This will include the most commonly used stem-changing verbs.

Tuesday – Oral pronunciation practice using newly learned vocabulary words in sentences with verbs that will be on test.

Wednesday – Quizizz Practice Test. This test will be used to create questions for the actual test.

Thursday – Review yesterday’s practice test putting emphasis on the areas where the most struggle was noticed. Review for tomorrow’s test.

Friday – TEST

Spanish 2 Week 22

Monday – Review conjugations of regular present tense verbs followed by introduction of stem-changing verbs, including meanings.

Tuesday – Quiz over  top 12 o-ue stem-changers. Quizizz for practice using stem-changing verbs.  Review e-ie and e-i meanings for quiz on Thursday.

Wednesday – Early release…classes that meet will be reviewed over weak areas from quizizz.

Thursday – Quizlet live over stem-changing verb meanings. Quiz over stem-changing verb meanings. Complete review from quizizz done on Tuesday.

Friday – Quiz over conjugations only of all stem-changing present tense verbs. After quiz, students will read aloud for oral pronunciation practice
