Spanish 2 Week 26

Monday – Refresher on irregular yo verbs. Focus today will be on the yo”go” verbs. We will add complimentary vocabulary that are commonly used with these verbs.

Tuesday – Quiz over yo”go” verbs. Meaning and yo form only except for tener, venir, and decir. After the quiz, we will move to reviewing  -zco verbs. We will add complimentary vocabulary that are commonly used with these verbs.

Wednesday – Quizizz activity reviewing numbers 1-1,000,000.

Thursday – Quiz over -zco verbs. Meaning and yo form only. After quiz we will cover remaining irregular yo verbs…-ger/-gir, guir, oir, ver, dar, saber. We will add complimentary vocabulary that are commonly used with these verbs.

Friday – Quiz over remaining irregular yo verbs. Meaning and yo form only except for oír(all forms.)

Spanish 2 Week 25

Monday – No School

Tuesday – Family member Booklet Pronunciation portion…students will be asked questions about their project and are expected to respond appropriately. Grades will be based on proper pronunciation as well as accurate responses.

Wednesday – Continue with presentations of needed. Introduce irregular “yo” verbs.

Thursday – Quiz over yo form of all irregular yo verbs…yo”go” -zco verbs, -gir, -guir, and others such as ver and dar.

Friday – Quizlet live/gimkit over irregular yo verbs. Introduce remaining vocab as well as numbers through 1,000,000.

Monday – Test Corrections from Friday’s test. Those who were absent will be taking their test today. Introduce irregular “yo” verbs if time allows and

Tuesday – Introduction of irregular “yo” verbs if not able to accomplish yesterday. Handout activity…why is this irregular.

Wednesday – Quizizz Activity on irregular yo verbs.

Thursday – Quiz over irregular “yo” verbs…emphasis will be on yo “go” verbs, but we will still cover all irregular yo verbs.

Friday – No School

Spanish 2 Week 23

Monday – Review conjugations of stem-changing verbs using the handout from last week.  We will also add additional vocabulary to the list. This will include the most commonly used stem-changing verbs.

Tuesday – Oral pronunciation practice using newly learned vocabulary words in sentences with verbs that will be on test.

Wednesday – Quizizz Practice Test. This test will be used to create questions for the actual test.

Thursday – Review yesterday’s practice test putting emphasis on the areas where the most struggle was noticed. Review for tomorrow’s test.

Friday – TEST

Spanish 2 Week 22

Monday – Review conjugations of regular present tense verbs followed by introduction of stem-changing verbs, including meanings.

Tuesday – Quiz over  top 12 o-ue stem-changers. Quizizz for practice using stem-changing verbs.  Review e-ie and e-i meanings for quiz on Thursday.

Wednesday – Early release…classes that meet will be reviewed over weak areas from quizizz.

Thursday – Quizlet live over stem-changing verb meanings. Quiz over stem-changing verb meanings. Complete review from quizizz done on Tuesday.

Friday – Quiz over conjugations only of all stem-changing present tense verbs. After quiz, students will read aloud for oral pronunciation practice

Monday – We will go over the Quizizz activity from Friday as. areview for Thursday’s Test. When we finish, we will review ser conjugations, tener conjugations, and regular verbs, and “ir + a.”

Tuesday – Practice Test

Wednesday – Review Practice test from yesterday.

Thursday – Test

Friday – We will go over weak areas from the test taken yesterday. If time allows, we will begin present tense stem-changing verbs verbs.

Spanish 2 Week 20

Monday – No classes

Tuesday – Review Quizizz from last Friday. Once finished, we will continue with uses of “ir + a”

Wednesday – Quiz over conjugations of ir. Introduce common vocab used with ir a…this will include places as well as verbs(things people “are going to do” verbs)

Thursday – Quizlet live practice newly learned vocabulary. After quizlet live, we will take a quiz over vocab words used on quizlet live.

Friday Quizizz Test Review for next weeks Test over ser, tener, estar, ir, and all REGULAR present tense verbs.

Spanish 2 Week 19

Monday – No classes

Tuesday – Review Semester Exams/Cumulative Exam struggle areas. Focus on areas that are important for moving forward.

Wednesday – Review subject pronoun charts as well as conjugations of ser and estar with adjectives and tener items possessed and tener expressions.

Thursday – Quiz over conjugations of ser and tener. Review  regular -ar, -er, and -ir verb conjugations and meanings of the first 35 we learned,

Friday Quiz over regular verbs. Introduce stem-changing verbs.

Spanish 2 Week 17

Monday – Final review day for Cumulative Test – we will cover conjugations of tener along with possession vocabulary, ALL regular verb conjugations along with the first 35 verb meanings we learned. We will finish with common vocab words students are expected to remember.

Tuesday – Quizizz practice test

Wednesday – Cumulative Exam

Thursday – We will dopronunciation portion of exam. Corrections will be assigned as homework to students with low exam scores if necessary. We will begin final exam review using weak/struggle areas from Cumulative Exam.

Friday – Complete Final Exam Review
